How To Deal With the Loss of a Pet, and my Experience.

Recently, I re-discovered this blog, it filled me with joy, but also with grief. Both cats that I wrote about then have died, see my post about letting cats outside for more information. They died at different times but Albee had a much longer life than Frank did. Albee being 8 and Frank 2. When Albee died we got a new baby kitten, of course, there was a gap for grieving, which I think is very important. Her name is Cujo and she's the love of my life! Although you should give yourself time to grieve getting a pet for some people can be a really beneficial and therapeutic way of processing death. Why is My White Cat So Dumb? White Cats With Blue Eyes Corrina Maltarich            I was on vacation with my family and we were looking at our white cat with blue eyes Frank, he was behind a chair playing with a toy on the other end of the chair leg he was by. Rather than putting both his paws on one side of the chair leg get at the toy he wrapped his arm around the leg and tried, did not succeed, to get the toy this way. Now, we always make fun of Frank for being dumb and were doing that right then, the difference was I remembered that I had heard someone tell me that almost 50% of white cats were blind or deaf. I told the person I was with and they said it was possible that was why Frank was so slow. I did some research and I found out that most blue-eyed white cats are deaf. I know for a fact that Frank is not deaf but the fact that 90% of cats like him are was probably why Frank was so slow to react to many things....

What You Should do When You See a Stray Cat There are a lot of stray cats nowadays. Because sometimes people only want kittens and then once the cat grows up they abandon them, the cat then has a litter and then there are the kittens and the cat as strays. Also because cats are not loyal they are more territorial. therefore if the owners move it is likely for them to run away. don't worry though, its not common! When you see a stray cat that looks gross and dirty but well fed,  do not  pet or pick up it,probably don't do that with any stray. What you should do though is call a cat is call a vet or if your cat looks healthy you should  call your local animal control people. This is to see if anyone has reported a lost cat that looks like the one you are looking at. Lil BUB Have you heard of the extremely well known cat Lil BUB? If you have I am not surprised. Lil BUB is a cat who was found by a man known as Mike Bridavsky. Mike found her in a run down tool shed in Indiana.  Lil BUB  was a runt in a litter that surprisingly was healthy. After Mike had fell in love  with her  and she was taken in as a rescue in need of very special care, they became famous! One of the main reasons why is because she was unhealthy she had a messed up tongue that- to this day- always hangs out of her mouth.  Lil BUB also has five fingers on each paw. Albee Square Maltarich

Name: Albee Square Maltarich Age: About 8-Years-Old This is Albee Square Maltarich he is fat and very very cute. He loves it when you rub his belly and because of this, his owners call him a dog. Even though Albee is lazy he goes on hunting streaks. Yesterday, for example, he caught a mouse! Albee lives in Brooklyn, New York with his brother and worst enemy Frank Sinatra Maltarich.  All was fine until not even a year ago when one day a mysterious white cat came into his home. At first, all Albee could do was smell the cat because the cat was locked in one of the bedrooms. Then the cat came out into the house and took all the attention away from Albee! Albee started to growl and it was the first time he ever did!  You see sometimes when cats are too old, I highly recommend not getting another cat. They are too far apart in age! Frank Sinatra Maltarich

🐈🐈 Name: Frank Sinatra Maltarich Age: Almost 1-year-old This is a cat named Frank Sinatra Maltarich. He used to be a very mean cat, biting and fighting the other cat he lived with, Albee. Frank is still a kitten but after he started teething he always let us pick him up and cuddle with him. Some cats, like Frank, are not the cuddliest. Even though they don't like to snuggle they can still be very sweet and playful.  Part of the reason why Frank isn't so snuggly is that he was a hopeless stray living in a broken down shed in a backyard in Brooklyn, New York. The owners got him from a friend when he was about 12 weeks old. The owners told me that when they first got him he had to live in the smallest bedroom because of his size! The owner who sleeps in that bedroom said she was scared at night because she didn't want to roll onto Frank. He cannot go outside yet but he really wants to. that's why he has a lot of toys.
